Waterford Festival of Food Dungarvan
The fifth Waterford Festival of Food Dungarvan was everything that was promised and most agree that it even surpassed expectations. The townspeople and their visitors celebrated in great style the richness and diversity of the food culture of the region. Together they shared picnic baskets, travelled on the "Bus Bias" foraged for fun in the woods and even clamoured over rocks on beaches to fill buckets with delicious seaweed. There was cookery demonstrations from respected local chefs while visiting chefs and foodie figures also took to the stage in the Town Hall theatre. The sun shone down on farmers market traders and visitors all day long on Sunday April 15th and wonderful and varied live music helped to build a gloriously happy atmosphere. All that remains now is to re-issue that invitation "COME JOIN US" at any time of the year but especially for our next Waterford Festival of Food, Dungarvan which will take place April 11th to 14th, 2013
