Venue: Meet bus at Shandon Car Park

Time: 10.00am – 2.00pm

Pack a picnic and prepare to explore the countryside and visit with some of our unique local farmers, meeting cows and calves with Gillian O’Sullivan (Big Week on the Farm), then a quick stop to Ballyconnery Bo for some farm fresh pasteurised milk before travelling on to Comeragh Mountain Farm to see Clotilde Kiely’s market garden and enjoy some home-made scones and jam.  You can also see her ducks and chickens on her smallholding, where she is ably assisted by her dog George.

Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout this event.  Please dress appropriately for the visit.
